My 5 year old says, “it was really good.” We give it a 4 star for our family! We added 1/8 tsp of baking powder and used millet for the flour. We just started a gluten free diet this week and this is the first recipe that we used! Thanks for giving us a great beginning!

I can't say I'm a big fan of the new crust. I find it too cake-like.

Kinnikinnick is hit and miss. It's local for me, so I can access all of their products. Their muffins (lemon poppyseed is my favourite) and cookies (esp the ginger ones!) are excellent, as are their bakery goods (the carrot, and the black forest cake are to die for!) And don't expect to only eat ONE brownie. Maybe the whole pan!

I find their pizza crust and breads lacking - they just don't do it for me.

Thanks for the site, I've just found it and have got some exploring ahead of me!

Cheers! (with GF beer :)

Ooops! Forgot to mention which brand of soy sauce we use. Not all soy sauces are gluten free so you have to be careful which ones you buy. Right now we're using San-J Organic Wheat Free Tamari Soy Sauce: http://www.san-j.com/product_info.asp?id=3 . We have also used La Choy brand soy sauce in the past and have never had any trouble with it.

I actually developed my own GF version of this last month - http://tinyurl.com/ctojkk - to capture the same "light and fluffy" effect as the pancake mix but w/ using regular GF flour, you can just add a little bit of baking powder, which helps to fluff it up a bit.

I think adding in the choc. chips are a must though, one can never have too much chocolate!

I LOVE pizza. The other night, I used a Chebe bread mix to make the dough and then topped it with olive oil, garlic, and plenty of tasty veggies (alas, no cheese as I am strictly dairy-free as well). It was AWESOME! I can't wait to try this crust, too! I am so excited that you guys are doing this.
